A Jewish Jesus

As this Christmas Season comes upon us, I hear people argue about what race Jesus is. Some portray him as white and others as black.  Neglected in their arguments and epithets toward each other is the undeniable fact that Jesus is Jewish.

He was born to a Jewish woman Miriam, he was circumcised on the eighth day according to Jewish law,  he practiced and taught Mosaic law. He has a Jewish name, Yeshua.

I remind you of this only to remind you of how you treat the Jews and especially Israel. It seems that after this Christmas argument of the race of Jesus vanishes from TV the majority of both black and white will agree on one thing, the problems in Israel are the Jews fault.

But it was a Jew who paid the price for your sins and mine, it was a Jew who gave his life so we live. YES, it was one of those the greedy, apartheid loving Jews whose life and death changed the world. How you lament that Jesus was not a Palestinian so your emotions of hate could be justified.

This Christmas Season when you give your expensive meaningless presents to ungrateful lovers and children understand that their are many men and women who are being persecuted and even killed in Arab countries because they dare to call a Jew, Master.
