Belly up to the bar time.

I know that on August 22, 2017 many will say that the total eclipse across America meant nothing, as we are still here and that the world kept on moving. No one was raptured, Yellowstone  did not erupt, and they will go on with there lives just as they did in the time of Noah. 

Eclipses we are told are signs,or omens if you wish, as the name in the bible is "oth" and can mean both. Eclipses are just one "sign" mentioned throughout the bible as a sign to watch for. Although the bible does not specifically say there was an eclipse in Nenevah history and science shows us there was at the time of Jonah. There were also plagues, civil war, and even rumors of war.  Jonah was charged by God to deliver a warning that in 40 days Nenevah would be overthrown by the Assyrians. 

Let us say the Creator will give us forty days notice, as He did to the people of Nenevah before He would render His judgement, than the prudent thing to do is to look out forty days.  What could happen in 40 days? Forty days past 21 August 2017, is 30 September 2017, and in and of itself is also nothing, except for the fact that the Julian calendar means nothing to God, as He gave calendar to Moses to use, call it a Jewish calendar if you want.  30 September in 2017 becomes 10 Tishri which is better know as Yom Kippur, the day of atonement.  

 

Unlike the people of Nevevah, I think that Americans will ignore this call to repentance and not seek to atone for their sins.  I pray I am wrong, but needless to say, America you have until Yom Kippur to repent and atone for your sins and atone for them.  

America I am not only speaking of your personal sins. I am speaking of the sins committed in your name.
